Saturday's Critters and Camera Critters

Tupelo, Mississippi, USA, August 29, 2017
I saw this Groundhog, Marmota monax, on the front lawn of a house in town.

Shiloh, Tennessee, USA, September 11, 2017
As soon as this turtle saw me, it ducked back under the water before I could get a better photo. It was in a small, shallow pond, but the water was very murky.

Tishomingo County, Mississippi, USA, April 29, 2017
Though it may look like this snake was right under my feet, I was a safe distance away.
The mighty power of a zoom lens!

Have a great week-end!

  12. Excellent critter shots. Funny, I saw a lot of groundhogs in the spring, but have not seen any of them since.
